Too often I will see an ad for a local business that makes this mistake…. what is it you ask? Their logo is the largest graphic on the ad. Unless you are a famous shoe brand with a swoosh that you have spent millions on getting brand recognition, your logo is not going to mean much to the people viewing your ad.
Don’t get me wrong, a strong logo is an important piece of your ad, but it should not be largest thing there. The message in the ad should draw them in. Not only does your logo brand you, but colors, shapes and the style of your design can brand your company as well. In the example below, you can see that we used a curved purple corner to brand this company.
